In the early 2000s, Victor "Sonny" Suba worked as a go-kart racing mechanic for one of the country's well-known racing teams. During that time, he would have his sons, VJ Suba and Vrei-ar Suba, drive newly built go-karts to break in and test the fresh engines his team had prepared. What started as simple engine testing soon revealed the brothers' natural talent and determination behind the wheel.
Their driving skills quickly caught the attention of other racing teams. Before long, both brothers were invited to join competitive teams, earning sponsorships and competing in numerous karting events. Throughout their racing careers, their father remained their mentor, mechanic, and biggest supporter, helping shape them into accomplished drivers.
As the years passed, the family's experience, dedication, and love for the sport inspired them to give back to the racing community. They began mentoring and supporting aspiring drivers, sharing the knowledge and values they had gained through decades in motorsports. This eventually led to the establishment of VS Racing Motorsports Team, a team committed to developing talent, promoting sportsmanship, and pursuing excellence both on and off the track.
The name VS proudly represents the family's initials: Victor Suba, VJ Suba, and
Vrei-ar Suba. More than just a name, it symbolizes their shared commitment, hard work, and passion that transformed a father-and-sons dream into a respected racing team.
Today, VS Racing Motorsports Team continues to grow, nurturing the next generation of racers while carrying forward the family's legacy of dedication, performance, and excellence in motorsports.
